The COVID 19 pandemic has impacted the United Thank Offering in many ways, but even with the pandemic disruption we can still focus on gratitude. We will not have a single ingathering this year but you can bring (mail) your UTO offering anytime between now and November 22nd . (Count up your coins and put a bill or check in a UTO envelope available at the back of the church or in the pews; then you can “recycle” your UTO Box.

  • In 2020 Holy Trinity’s United Thank Offering was $582.06.
  • In 2020 the UTO Board quickly adapted to the pandemic offering grant opportunities for ministries impacted or started in response to COVID.
  • In 2020 a $36,948 UTO Grant was awarded in our Diocese for the Big Blue Drop-In Center at the Cathedral in Springfield. Watch an interesting video about the ministry: https://youtu.be/t3xMTWf6Gss

Thanks to all who practice gratitude using a UTO box and sharing the “fruits” for grants all over the world.

This year my offering is in thanksgiving for the life of Diane Nichols whose dedication to UTO was inspiring.
